Before you release a drawing

Agree the details that cross trades.

  1. Choose one controlling unit. Identify whether dimensions are in inches or millimetres; approve any conversion on the signed drawing.
  2. Separate a finish from its substrate. Request the board/core record as well as the visible veneer sample.
  3. Name the local reviewer. Include state, city, project use and the evidence required for the exact model and configuration.

For regulated composite wood and finished goods containing it, ask the supplier and import professional to identify applicable TSCA Title VI evidence. EPA guidance ↗

Your next step

Send a brief that can be priced.

State and city · room schedule · drawing revision and units · selected references · review requirements · receiving point and requested delivery window.

Ask for goods, packing, freight, import charges, final delivery and installation exclusions separately. Classification and charges require the actual goods and current review.

Packing and shipment preparation.

Wrapped profiles, timber crates and container loading for US-bound material shipments.

Discuss protection for long items, package dimensions, loading sequence and receiving access. Include the project state, selected models and required documents in the brief.

The Australian documents in the sourcing archive do not establish US product approval. Match any requested US evidence to the exact product, configuration and project requirement.
