KUCI / How we support your project

One-stop service, in practical terms.

KUCI connects materials, design support, procurement and delivery coordination around your project. The starting point can be a room, a product list, your own design or an early idea.

01

What does KUCI supply?

Building and decorative materials, custom cabinetry, doors and windows, bathroom products, furniture, lighting and soft furnishings.

Working towardsChoose the categories your project needs.

02

What can the team help coordinate?

Material selection, agreed design work, quotations, production follow-up, quality checks, export logistics and product handover.

Working towardsAgree the services and responsibilities for your order.

03

How do I begin?

Working towardsStart with a clear brief, even if some details are provisional.

One-stop coordination is flexible. It does not mean every service, transport cost or local construction task is automatically included.

Quotation

What can I send before every detail is ready?

Start with the destination, project stage, rooms or product categories and any quantities you know. Mark unknown items as pending. A plan or BOQ can help define what still needs measuring or selecting.

Does a material quotation include installation and freight?

Check the actual offer line by line. Ask for the currency, validity, quantity basis, product specification and a clear list of inclusions and exclusions. Do not assume installation, duties, unloading or freight are included.

How can I compare quotations with different inclusions?

Compare the same quantities, units, materials, finish references and drawing revision. Identify hardware, packing, freight, installation and taxes separately where relevant. Ask each supplier to mark exclusions and proposed substitutions.

Samples

Are samples available, and are they free?

Discuss the sample format, quantity, charges and shipping terms for the selected material. Include the destination and what you need to evaluate.

How do I keep a sample decision traceable?

Record the supplier or finish reference, review date, intended use and the person who accepted it. Ask how the sample relates to the actual production batch and what variation needs agreement.

What should happen when a sample or model changes?

Record a proposed replacement against the original model and review appearance, fit, documents and price before approving it.

Plan sample confirmation ↗

Customisation

Can I change the dimensions or finish?

Discuss the selected model, sizes, materials and hardware, then confirm the specification and revised drawing for a custom item.

When is a custom item ready for production approval?

Agree the final drawing revision, verified measurements, finish references, hardware and unresolved questions with the responsible parties. Approval authority and release conditions must be stated in the project agreement.

Inspection

What should I ask to be inspected?

Identify the items, quantities, dimensions or finishes to check, the inspection stage, acceptance basis, reporting method and who acts on exceptions. Confirm the inspection service and cost before relying on it.

Can packing photos replace an inspection?

Packing photographs record visible condition. Agree the inspection scope, quantities, product checks and supporting records before dispatch.

Shipping

What information is needed for freight planning?

Provide the pickup and destination locations, material list, packing dimensions with units, gross weights, package count, readiness and handling restrictions. Confirm the receiving access and unloading arrangement.

Who handles import clearance and destination charges?

Name the importer, broker, forwarder and receiving party in the agreed scope. Ask which charges and filings each party handles. The actual shipment and destination requirements need professional review.

Can materials arrive in separate project batches?

Discuss item readiness and site sequence before booking. Confirm extra packing, handling, freight, storage and local delivery costs for each batch; do not assume that split delivery is included.

What should the receiving team record?

Reconcile package IDs and counts against the packing list, photograph visible condition and record exceptions under the agreed procedure. Confirm inspection, notification and acceptance responsibilities in the order and transport arrangements.

Product documents

Does one report cover every product in a range?

Do not assume it does. Match the report to the manufacturer, model, configuration, test scope and intended use. Request supporting details for any proposed substitution.

Who reviews product suitability for my project?

Request documents for the offered product and have the appropriate local professional assess their applicability to your project.

A closer look / Prepare the details

Turn a question into a useful brief.

You can start before every detail is resolved. Share what is known and identify the decision you need help with.

  1. “I like this finish.”

Include the product page or finish reference, the room where it will be used and the materials it needs to sit beside. Ask which sample format is suitable.

  2. “I need a comparable quotation.”

Send the room or item list, quantity basis and current drawings. Highlight the parts, installation or freight scope you need separated in the offer.

  3. “I need to check this model.”

Share the offered model, configuration and destination. List the documents or questions requested by your project reviewer.
