Planning a Foshan Showroom Visit: What to Bring and Check

Make a Foshan showroom visit useful: bring plans, compare samples in context and leave with a clear selection record and a list of open questions.

Before you start

  • Decide which product choices the visit needs to resolve.
  • Bring measurements and surrounding finish references, not only inspiration images.
  • Leave with item codes, sample records and clearly assigned follow-up questions.

Choose the decisions for the day

A showroom visit is most useful when it has a short decision list. You might need to compare floor surfaces, settle a cabinetry finish or understand how a door assembly fits the wall. Tell the team which categories matter before arranging the route.

KUCI uses partnered showroom resources in Foshan. Hall 3 is completed. Confirm the current meeting point, accessible display areas and appointment timing with the team; do not assume every product shown online will be on display during your visit.

Bring the context behind the selection

Carry current room plans, dimensions and photographs of relevant site conditions. Add samples or reliable references for finishes that are already fixed, such as an existing floor or stone surface. A colour that works in isolation may not work beside them.

For custom items, identify measurements that are still preliminary. The visit can help you narrow options, while the production drawing should wait for the required checks.

Compare samples systematically

Place candidate finishes together and look at texture, sheen and edge details. Ask what the display represents: a complete assembly, a finish sample or a design concept. Record the exact reference for any option you want priced.

Photographs are useful reminders, but phone images can change the apparent colour. Where the decision depends on colour or texture, agree a physical sample and a written finish reference for later approval.

Look beyond the visible face

Open drawers, inspect joints and ask how items are fixed or serviced where the display permits it. Discuss the components that are absent from a styled scene: trims, supports, connectors and access panels. Ask for product-specific documents rather than inferring performance from the showroom installation.

Leave with a selection record

Separate shortlisted items from approved items. For each selection, record the room, item code, finish, outstanding questions and next action. Confirm who will send the quotation or drawing and what information they still need from you.

After the visit, review the selections against your plans before releasing an order. If one finish changes, recheck adjacent materials rather than assuming the earlier combination still works.

Pack these for your visit

  • Current plans and a room-by-room decision list.
  • Measurements marked confirmed or preliminary.
  • Existing finish samples and annotated reference images.
  • A simple note sheet for item code, room, finish and open questions.
  • The agreed appointment details and meeting point.
