Is an island essential in a walk-in closet?

No. A dressing room can use wall storage only. An island is an option when the measured layout leaves suitable circulation and access around it.

How should windows affect the storage layout?

Keep window operation and access in the plan. Consider where daylight falls, which items are displayed and whether additional shading is required.

What belongs in a walk-in closet brief?

Include room dimensions, openings, storage quantities, preferred display areas, seating or vanity needs, lighting expectations and the room's connection to the bedroom.

Plans & dimensions
Share DWG/CAD floor plans, PDF architectural sets or an Excel BOQ schedule for walk-in closets & dressing rooms. Room dimensions, elevations, cabinet quantities and service openings. Confirm the secure transfer route for files not accepted by the enquiry form.
Product requirements
Specify the substrate and finish code; request ENF test evidence or applicable CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI documentation for the exact composite-wood board. These requirements are not interchangeable. Confirm hinges, runners and load ratings.
Checks before delivery
Agree dimensional checks and optional trial assembly for complex joinery, with scope, cost and schedule confirmed before ordering. Agree photo/video inspection reports and their timing before balance payment in the order terms.
Packing & shipping
Confirm assembled or corner-protected flat-pack supply, component labels and moisture protection. Where plywood crates are specified, confirm the packaging construction and destination requirements before describing them as fumigation-free. Discuss 20GP/40HQ FCL or LCL consolidation from Foshan through an agreed South China departure port, such as Shenzhen/Yantian. Port, packing, shipment fit and charges are confirmed in the freight quotation.

Emission evidence
Request ENF or E0 test evidence where specified, or CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI documentation for applicable composite-wood products. These are different requirements, not interchangeable labels; verify the exact board and supplier before ordering.
Finish options to review
2-pack lacquer, wood veneer, melamine, PET, HPL or Fenix. Confirm availability, substrate, finish code and physical sample for the chosen line.
Hardware schedule
Specify Blum, Hettich or DTC soft-close hinges and drawer runners where required. Brand, model, load rating and authorized supply must be confirmed in the quotation; no universal brand inclusion is implied.
Drawing deliverables
Agree the 2D CAD shop-drawing scope and any 3D renderings before manufacturing. Approved dimensions, service openings, fillers and interfaces govern production.
Packing and checks
Confirm flat-pack or pre-assembled supply, component labels and export crating. Optional pre-assembly checks for suitable joinery require agreement on scope, cost and schedule.
